NAME: My name is Rosh, I’m sixteen years old and a tribute from district 8 (Star Trek)

HOBBIES, INTERESTS & TALENTS: I’m an artist (or so I call myself one), I draw, sketch and paint but I’ve started to get into photoshop these days too. I’m a writer and write poetry, fanficition and other prose whenever inspiration strikes. I’ve been thinking about writing a book, although it’s pretty impossible to do with all the schoolwork I get. I love music, even though I can’t play an instrument besides the recorder (which I learnt in third grade and have also forgotten most of it) and sound like a dying whale when I try to sing. Some of my favorite artists in the music industry are The Arctic Monkeys, Florence and the Machine, The XX, The Neighborhood and Muse. Books, books, books — my favorite things, I have shelves full of them and always have a book on me whether it be a collection of sonnets by Shakespeare or George RR Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series. I play football (or soccer, depending where you’re from) and practice karate. Other than that, I watch alot of tv shows and tumblr all day every day whenever I get the chance.   

FAVORITE PART OF BEING A TRIBUTE FOR MY FANDOM: Representing a fandom which is both old and huge is an honor just to begin with. I love than this fandom has two universes, the original series and the alternate series. I have a great understanding of the characters and plots in the alternative series or the ‘reboot’ version of star trek and I’ve always wanted to get more familiar with the original series and this competition will give me a chance to do so.

PLAN TO WIN: I don’t believe in no win situations, so anything and everything I have to do (even align the ship’s core manually).
