oh, goodness, I’m so relieved!

To be honest I didn’t think I’d make it. I owe it all to the people in and out of the fandom who supported me. first of all Kinzie, who slapped some self esteem in me and filetthebitch who had been infinitely patient with me while editing my piece.

I’ve never been much of a team player but I can’t wait for an occasion to ally with some of the tributes. first because they’re great artists who can do nothing but teach me something, and secondly because I know we can create something great together. of course on the top of the list there’s Kinzie. we represent a small fandom so we have to stick together if we want to get far.

one last thing I’d like to say: Kinzie deserves cookies and a gold star because even if we ship incompatible ships (I ship captain Swan and she ships Swan queen) she’d been nothing less than great and supportive of me during this round. I think this is the spirit we all should have, in the fandom games and in general.

I look forward to the next round with mixed feelings. I know that I’ll have to bow and leave the scene at some point, I don’t kid myself, but you can all rest assured I’ll fight until the end, so bring it on! I’ll be like…

Well hello there, Kat! I’m relieved to still be in the games, and exstatic that my piece was in the top ten! The next round is going to be even more exciting than this one, now that everyone is going to be raising the bar.

Hey there, well thank you and yes omg IM SO EXCITED AND RELIEVED that I actually survived, I think the competitors are strong and their work is awesome, but I also think I might actually make it, maybe because I’m positive or I don’t know but I’m not as bad as I thought I was, I became a little worried since I’m just starting to post my stuff and that so yeah. I might ally with someone, that would be fantastic, the other tribute from my district spnqueen is hella and my sponsors are too, those sponsors are just amazing and helped and gave me advice like no other. I’m really really really happy I survived and to be honest I’m loving it and I promise I will sure give my best for how long I’ll be here (which hope will be until the end) :)

I’m relieved and excited! I made it through a round which is really fucking awesome. The other tribute, Divergentm made it through too.

Hell yea, I do see competition but nothing I can’t handle. I think I’ll start worrying when there’s only a few of us left and it’s down to the wire. I’ve talked to some tributes and I’m just waiting for an opportunity to arise so I can join up with their amazing talents!

Hello Kat! Pleasure to see you again.

When I found out that I’d made it through the games, I was so relieved and grateful to all the people who’d voted for me!

If you think that surviving this round has made me complacent though, you would be wrong. Now I’m even more determined to win and bring pride to the district! Especially since my fellow district seven tribute, Anthroprophagex, is gone. I will find that bear and avenge him!

Who would I want to work with? Oh my gosh! All of our tributes are beyond fantastic and I would love to work with any of them, but there are certain fandoms that I am entirely too jazzed about the idea of a crossover with and some that I don’t know anything at all about. I’d be very willing to work with Kinzie, but I know absolutely nothing about her fandom.

And, if we’re doing shout outs to our districts, I’d like to shout out Serenity-In-Chaos, my lovely GF (or, as I put it on my tumblr, the Neal to my Peter… also the Sherlock to my John and the Dean to my Cas. She is not, however, the Hannibal to my Will, or the Will to my Hannibal. Or even the Clarice to my Hannibal… well maybe she’s the Clarice to my Hannibal, but yeah there’s too much creepy there so no).

So, um, away from that. I’m happy I’ve survived and I’m looking forward to the next challenge. Now that I’ve seen what everyone can do I’m certainly excited to see more!

When the results came in that my piece was in 4th place, there was a little bit of excitement. 

There was definitely some disbelief. 

However, the Tolkien fandom is a dear, dear family, and we stand up for one another. 

I’m so thankful for the support that has met me thus far, and with some new knowledge in mind about what the other tributes have to bring to the table, I think the next round will prove very interesting.
