Psst. Kat runs this thing, she gets a kick out of it when people respond. Every Gamemaker works very hard to keep these Games as interesting and exciting as possible, and this is the best way to let them know if something is off.

We have already been over this, but just as a reminder~

1. There’s a survey/poll where you - the fans - vote for your favorite tribute.

2. We take the bottom six and as game makers vote and discuss who should be eliminated.

3. We eliminate the bottom three or four that we think didn’t demonstrate the skills that the others did.

Introducing a new section of the Games: The fandomgamesfun Round Winners!

As the Gamemakers have stated in the past, we thoroughly enjoy all entries into the competition, and that includes those entered by those who weren’t even reaped! In order to encourage even more friendly competition, we’d like to give an incentive to those who are still willing to participate.

For those who tag their pieces of art/food/cosplays/videos/whatever under the tag “fandomgamesfun”, the judges will choose one or more pieces to be featured on this blog! Even better, each judge will post a promo on their personal blog for the lucky winner(s)’s blog! We’re looking for originality, attention shown to the prompt, and overall amazingness. It’s a great opportunity!

The winner from the First Round will be posted shortly, but we hope that members of the Capitol will take to this new idea with all the enthusiasm they have shown the Games before now.

Be prepared for the Second Round’s topic, and Happy Fandom Games!

Well, I can surely say I’m relieved that I made it through the first round. I really thought I was a goner, seeing as my work wasn’t up to par due to computer failures - every time I went to save, it would erase half of the document, if not all of it. I really hope that I’ll still be up and running for the Games, and I’m excited for the next round. I’m hoping to grab a couple allies soon.

I’d love to give a big shout out to my best friend and my rock through this past round, jennaraeseraph, and an even bigger shout out to all my followers. Whether they voted or not, they are important to me, and I love all of them.

I’m really relieved, and far from unconcerned. What’s troubled me about these games so far is that in the first round, my ally and I were having a problem with our work. I had my fic all done and ready to post, and then I broke my computer. And by the time I got done with the final one, it was the Saturday before the games. She was supposed to make a gifset, but she was also having computer problems. So she helped with the fic and hey, we’re still here. I’m ready for the next round because we’re gonna be way more prepared. I want to give a shoutout to all my followers, those who voted or not. Because I’ve gained quite a few from these games and I love them all. 

I’m still honored to be representing the Sherlock fandom in these games. And there has been some really great art that’s come out of this first round and I’m so excited to see more because I am apart of almost all the other fandoms.

Hello Kat ^.^ The other tributes are all super talented, the rounds are going to get harder and harder, and i expect everyone to be crazy prepared for the next challenge. Thanks to my awesome sponsors and my friends i escaped this round…

… But i lost my fellow tribute writingwithwings so this is bitter victory :( I raise my wand to her along with every potterheads (another of our strange district customs). (Also sorry i apparently killed Nora the Tolkien tribute oops.)

I’m super excited for round two and can’t wait to see what it’s going to be!! As for allies, we’ll see i guess :)
