Actually, no. The hunger games were about how the tributes wanted to survive by trying their best. They made allies. District 12 and 11 became friends. In Catching fire, they all allied up (almost all).

It’s about learning to get out of your own fandom and learning to cooperate with other fandoms while keeping your sense of competition and making friends as well as enjoying yourself.

We’re not having anyone kill another, you know? We’re having tributes practice their talents and build up their skills as well as show it to the world.

1. well this blog already has 2.6k+ followers and the games havent even started! So I’m sure that just being a tribute, you will gain followers.
2. When you win, each of the judges will promote you. I have 13k followers myself, and many of the other judges have 2-3k+ followers, and there’s 13 judges. So you will easily be promoted to 40k+ blogs.
3. When you’re a tribute, you will be making graphics, etc, and posting them on your blog. so if you get voted to stay and win the games, that means a lot of people have seen your graphic. We will also reblog the work of our tributes, and that way people can see your work and follow you to see more!
4. There are many many ways your name will get out there. Hopefully if these games become more known, then you will gain even more.

Okay well superwholock and marvel have huge fandoms, so we made them careers.

We made Tolkien District 5 because its industry is power and electricity. It is responsible for the power of all the nations. This made me think of how powerful Tolkien is and how it was one of the first fantastical worlds to grasp the hearts and imaginations of millions. Also, the ring holds a lot of power c:

We made Hannibal District 7 because they are the lumber district. What does the lumber district use? Axes. What can axes do? Kill. What do you do with dead people? Eat them.

District 8 reminded us of Star Trek because they make textiles, or clothing. In the books it said they made all the clothing, including the Peacekeepers uniforms. The word uniform immediately made us think of Starfleet uniforms :)

We made District 9 Teen Wolf because it specializes in grain, which made us think of wolfs bane. Also it made us think of the growing of the fandom which has become very large very quickly (yay!!)

We made Once Upon a Time District 10 because it is the livestock district. This made us think how some of the OUAT characters have their destiny played with, just as animals do on a farm.

We made District 11 (the farming district) for The Walking Dead because in Season 2 they sit on a farm basically haha.

District 12 is The Hunger Games because it is the most prominent district in the series as the main characters are from there :)

District 6 is known for transportation and trains, which made me think of the Hogwarts Express :)
