It was a night just like the others in the gloomy, misterious place of Beacon Hills. But the most strange thing of all was how quiet it really got, yeah, years had passed, struggles had been overcomed, but reallly?! It had been such a challenging path that it was unbelievable the calmness they now owned. They were free, they were in college now, they could hope of being something else, something they desired so anxiously for so long.

We’re not going to rate the pieces until they are all together. It seems a little unfair to rate based on prior knowledge, when incoming pieces could be better and/or worse than the already entered pieces.

I’m Niña Alicia Martinez, and I’m the new tribute for District 12, the Hunger Games District! I volunteered in place of peetamerllak, since her computer unfortunately broke and she will no longer be able to participate in the games.
I’m 16, I’m 5 feet tall, and I’m from San Antonio, TX. I read the Hunger Games trilogy in the summer before my freshman year(so about 2 and a half years ago), and I’ve loved it ever since.
I’m a 3rd year Visual Arts major at North East School of the Arts, and I currently have an A in my Literature class. My strongest medium is ink and Copic markers, and my weakest is paint. I’ve played the guitar for 12 years, and my dad owns an in-home studio where I sometimes record covers or original songs.
I’m a complete nerd. My favorite subject is physics, and I plan on getting my nursing degree alongside my Masters in Film Acting from UCLA.
I am a die-hard Trekkie, in case the Star Trek tribute wants to ally(wink wink), but I am beyond elated to support my favorite book trilogy.
All in all, I am honored to be a part of this, and would like to thank both the followers and the moderators for making this happen!
